Our Supported Internship Programme, is an exciting new opportunity for young people from 18 to 25 years old with an agreed Education Health Care Plan (EHCP).

How to apply
You can apply to become a supported intern on the EduKnowledge Hub website.
It provides access to valuable education and career support prior to entering paid employment.
Who can apply
The Supported Internship Programme is open to any young person who:
· is aged from 18 to 25 years old
· has an agreed EHCP
What the course offers
Successful applicants will get the chance to:
· attend tutor-led sessions held at BCP Civic Centre in Bournemouth, to enhance and develop transferable employment skills
· work alongside our staff across a range of council departments, supported by experienced job coaches
Interns who graduate from the course may go on and apply for employment with us or could choose to apply for work across the local area.
Ongoing job coach support will also be offered as the intern transitions into the world of employment.
When the course runs
Our Supported Internship Programme takes place over the course of an academic year from September until July.
